Business review and Live access
Organizations request Live access through the Compliance section of their workspace. The application collects business information, supporting documents and an accuracy attestation. A platform administrator reviews the submission and may request changes.
Use accurate, current information and provide the documents requested for your application. Approval applies to workspace access; the applicable service and provider must also be configured for your integration.
Lawful verification
Businesses must establish a lawful basis, explain the purpose of verification and collect any required consent before submitting personal data. Limit checks and use of their results to that stated purpose.
For biometric capture, explain the camera and identity-comparison steps. Give individuals an appropriate way to raise a concern or request review of a decision.
Data protection
Applicable data-protection requirements govern how personal data is collected, used, disclosed and retained. For Nigerian processing, the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023 and relevant NDPC guidance form part of that framework.
Agree the processing scope, provider access, retention, security and transfer arrangements for the deployment. Our Privacy Policy describes the data handled through FaceX.
Customer responsibilities
Your organization remains responsible for its own KYC, AML, licensing and sector-specific obligations, including decisions made using verification results. A FaceX result is one input to your risk and onboarding process.
Restrict access to authorized staff, keep appropriate consent and decision records, and investigate uncertain or disputed outcomes through your review process.
Vendor and procurement reviews
For a security questionnaire or compliance review, contact support@facexverify.com with your use case, required checks and the documents you need. Registration, audit or certification evidence should be assessed through the current documents supplied for the service.
The Security overview explains the workspace and integration controls. Official Nigerian data-protection resources are available from the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
