How do I create, rotate or revoke an API key?
Manage environment-specific keys in Developer settings.
Create a key
Select the intended environment and open Developer settings. If your role permits management, select Create API key and name it so your team can identify its use. Select Copy API key and save it securely before refreshing or leaving the page. Copy prefix identifies a saved key; it cannot be used to authenticate API requests.
Rotate a key
Choose Rotate for an active key. Rotation invalidates the old key immediately, so prepare your backend update before performing the change. Replace the old secret in your deployment and verify the integration afterward.
Revoke unused keys
Revoke credentials that are no longer needed or have been exposed. Check that the key belongs to the intended environment. If management controls are unavailable, ask an authorized workspace administrator to review your role.
