How do I allow camera access?
Prepare browser and mobile permissions before starting a capture.
On the web
Use HTTPS or a permitted localhost development context. When the browser asks for camera access, allow it for the verification page. If permission was denied, review that site’s camera setting in the browser and try again.
On Android and iOS
Allow camera access when your application requests it. If access is blocked, check the application’s permissions in device Settings. The host application must implement permission prompts and handle denied access or lifecycle changes.
If the camera still fails
Close another application that may be using the camera, reopen the verification flow and check that the browser or app is supported. Report the device, operating system, browser or app version and error text to support.
